Now on to the interview with Catherine…
Question 1: Tell us about your new release, Lycan’s Blood Queen.
Catherine: Lycan’s Blood Queen is a forbidden romance themed Paranormal Romance in the backdrop of impending supernatural war. The male lead is a Lycanthrope. When he discovers a female Vampire in his territory he’s furious. He takes her into his custody for an inquiry, but things doesn’t go as planned when he finds himself falling for her.
The rest of story revolves around these passionate lovers and the obstacles they have to face in order to be with each other. This is a HEA romance divided into two parts. The sequel is releasing soon.
Question 2: For readers who are either new to your work or have yet to try it, why should they read your book?
Catherine: First of all, hello to the new readers. I’ve been told by my readers that my stories are unlike the others they have read. They love that I follow a strict code of no infidelity in my stories and they say my stories are often a breath of fresh air to them. I’m known to test your patience with cliffhangers, but I guarantee a happy ending.
While the taste of each reader differs, all I can ask is to give my story a chance. This could become your next favorite story or sometimes not. But do try it out if the blurb interests you.
Question 3: Who is your favorite character in Lycan’s Blood Queen and why?
Catherine: I’d say the main characters, but to be honest I cried while writing Melisa’s character. There’s so much to her than others realize.
Likewise, Aaron, the male lead is not a stereotypical Lycan. He lives by his code, level headed and a fair King. That’s what I like the most about him.
Question 4: Do you have any future plans for any of the characters and/or worlds in Lycan’s Blood Queen?
Catherine: I have one more book in this Duology, which will focus on the war. After that I plan to write short bonus stories on the background of the characters readers love the most.
Question 5: What can readers expect next from you?
Catherine: Readers can expect more unique stories with a twist. Once I wind up with Randolph Duology, I plan to release my Lycan trilogy, which is entirely a different universe with magical beings I created for this series. So excited!
To wrap up the interview, we asked Catherine a bonus question to give you the reader a glimpse at the person behind the book.
What is your dream vacation?
Catherine: Bali, Maldives or Thailand – still in bucket list. Egypt is always there in the back of my mind, maybe in future when I can afford the trip. I’m yet to have my dream vacation by the way.
